I have no clue where you could get these twoathome, I have never seen them in person, only on TV on one of my favorite shows, Everybody Loves Raymond in Ray's parents, Marie and Frank Barone's living room! Ha!Ha! :) I say have a rule to keep food and drinks at the dining room table. You got a good deal on the furniture and furniture is made to be lived on and you don't want to be sitting on some hard, uncomfortable plastic, so enjoy your new furniture and buy a little hand held spot remover carpet/furniture steam machine for around $30-$40 just in case they sneak something out there and happen to spill and get to the spot right away. The older they get the better things will get for you twoathome...I just know it! So, enjoy that new furniture and buy a little spot cleaning machine! Also, if your furniture happens to be microfiber that is supposed to clean up VERY well from what I have heard. Hope this helps!
Believe me, we already have all kinds of "food at the table only" rules. They follow them as long as I'm watching them like a hawk. It's when I'm not paying attention that the crap (sometimes literally) hits the fan . . .
They have even learned to wake up before me so they can sneak popsicles out of the freezer . . . so, we no longer buy popsicles.
Anyway, we have clear vinyl on the dining table, and as nerdy as it is, I like it because I can still see and enjoy the furniture, but it doesn't get damaged.
Also, this is a "formal" living room we rarely use, so I figure I can just remove the covers when we have company and we can continue to enjoy the family room furniture without sticking to the plastic. . .
I know I'm a dweeb. I should have been born a seventy-five years ago!
But I'm determined to get those vinyl covers!!
Any ideas anyone??

Try this link...I don't know if it's what you are looking for, but maybe it will help you! Good Luck! http://www.collectionsetc.com/Item16410.aspx?WT.mc_id=3EZZZ1
Chair, love seat and sofa covers for $9.99 ea.
Thanks. These are exactly what I'm looking for. It's just that this site doesn't give the measurements, so I don't want to drop the thirty bucks including shipping if I can't actually look at them to figure out whether they'll fit or not. Thanks, though. I think I will end up ordering them from there. I just don't think they sell them in stores anymore.
Unless I luck into someone who's seen them around here.
Any super shoppers that have seen these anywhere??

Can't you call them to get the measurements? There is a phone number in the Customer Service link at the top.
That would make sense, wouldn't it?? Thanks for the idea. To be totally honest, the thought never even crossed my mind . . . ; )
OK, your post totally takes me back!
When we would go to our great-grandma's she had all furniture covered in plastic, and we were not allowed in there! Funny thing is, she was like that forever, even when my mom was a tiny girl! Hahahaha.
Good Luck and enjoy your new furniture:)
After my DH spilled an enormous glass of chocolate milk on my sofa this weekend, I was thinking about getting those covers myself. Hope you get the info you need by calling customer service!
My hubby had an idea....How about you get one of those giant rolls of shrink wrap, wrap the new furniture all up...and then blow dry it so it shrinks to the right size...if you want, order extra, and shrink wrap the kids- straight jacket style. It would prevent them from making a mess, and from getting themselves messy. I will bring CJ over, and we can wrap him up too!
That is the BEST idea I've heard yet!!

I can't believe I've gotten this old, but we just got new living room furniture (Conlin furniture is going out of business for those of you looking for a good deal . . .) Anyway, I just know my kids are going to have popsicles melted on my new sofa and chair despite the fact that they've been banned from the living room for life and I've been watching them like a hawk. I currently have them covered with a sheet, due to my paranoia, but I still want some of those clear vinyl "Granny covers".
Does anyone know where I can get these??
I found them online for a decent price, but they don't give me the sizes and the shipping is kinda pricey. So . . .super shoppers, any clues?
