My son had 8 teeth by the time he was 5 months old. Teething tablets were sent down from the heavens. They are absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The pharmacist is completely right-with my first son they were a total godsend. I called them "magic tablets". He was having horrible teething episodes, but the first time I gave him the Hyland's tablets he slept ALL NIGHT and I was so grateful for them. I tried them with my second son and they did absolutely nothing. But I would definitely give them a try because when they work, they work great!
I used them on my son and could not tell a difference.

My 6mo is just getting teeth and is actually doing great! We struggle a little in the evening and teething rings are only fun for so long. I am not a big tylenol fan and didn't even want to go the orajel route so I tried the tablets and LOVED them and so does my baby I think that they work wonders!

We also use the Hylands teething tablets and they work wonderful for Riley--I almost sent my hubby out in the middle of the night to buy more last night because we couldn't find them.
My son got 4 teeth each time at once had all of them by 8 months old. These things were a GOD send! I didnt even disovle them in water just stuck one in his mouth and rubbed it over where he was getting the teeth (that is if i could keep from getting bitten) Needless to say he would fall asleep within a half hour after giving him one. I highly recomend them. :)
We used Hyland's teething tablets as well, then I got my daughter a baltic amber teething necklace and now rarely give the tablets. You can read some info on them here (this is the one I got her):

There are many mom's on another board that I'm on that have these and love them as well, and that is what got me to try one out. Also, my daughter was never big on teething rings as well, but I bought one of those fresh food feeders to give her some apple in and she refused to eat any type of food out of them, but loved it when I put an ice cube (we have the skinny kinda half circle ice cubes) in it for her and still does! They have them at Wal-mart and Target. Can see one here:

They worked great for my oldest, didn’t make a difference to my youngest. Definitely worth a try though.
We gave Emma 2 tablets for the first time last night and I think it worked great for her. She took a 40 minute nap after taking the tablets. And, when she woke up she was so mellow and relaxed; her teeth didn't seem to bother her. I'm so glad I gave them a try even though my husband had doubts. Now, can she take them every night?
I would read the directions but I'm pretty sure she can. They seemed to lose their effectiveness after awhile with my first son, though. It really depended on the severity of the teething.
I think your fine giving them to her whenever she needs them. My oldest son actually ate a whole bottle at once. I had bought some when my youngest was teething. My oldest obviously remembered that he like them. They don't have childproof caps and unfortunately he just scooted a chair over and grabbed them from the high place I put them. I called the # listed and they said it was totally fine. Little stinker!

One of my co-workers told me about these 100% natural teething relief tablets that she buys at Walgreens; the brand name is Humphreys. She says they work wonders for her son whenever he's teething.
Emma is teething and is really struggling with that; she's been crying and fussing every evening for the last couple weeks; she's not interested in teething rings; she hates Baby Orajel; Tylenol only works for couple of hours. She's only 5.5 months old and is so irritable. I went to Wal Mart today to get the pharmacist's opinion on those pills and she said that they carry their own brand "Hylands" that's all natural as well. They're not FDA approved, but that's only because there's no chemicals or anything like that in them. The pharmacist said that they work great for some kids and don't do anything for others. I got some to try, but wanted to hear what you thought about them first. Thanks.
