My son is potty training he use to go in the little potty chair which worked out great b/c then I knew if he really went. The last couple of days he wants to go in the big potty, which is fine, but does anyone have any suggestions on how I can tell if he actually goes potty. Sometimes it is so light and so little that I have no idea. Thanks for your help in advance.

In the few times our son has sat on the big boy potty...I'm right there with him. He doesn't go much...but I heard the littlest tinkle..plus there was a tiny bit on the boy splash guard as well. Otherwise I'll bet you can always find one of those cups to put under him like from a Drs office.

My daycare provider said she’d often put a square or two of toilet paper in the water first, which was supposed to make it easier to see if the kids went. I never tried it, but it might work for you!
