The two I know of in Sioux Falls are Professional Image by Rosemary and Haute Models. I don't know anyone who's signed their children with either, however.
But! I am always looking for models for fashion features in the Argus Leader and our specialty magazines. (Moms, too!) If anyone is interested, let me know.

I did a fashion feature in one of the magazines a couple of years ago. It was fun! I felt like a local celebrity for about a month afterwards too! :)
I was also signed with Haute models, but they don't have much for work around here.

I just signed my daughter up with Rosemary but no work yet. I think to really get your child out there you need to get a portfolio together and travel to a bigger city. I called on a few in Minneapolis and sent them pics. They absolutely loved her but said they couldnt do much because we lives so far away. Let me know if you find anything else out there.
Does Rosemary charge anything for being a representative- or how does that work?
I always look at the Citypages.com website (where i used to intern) for the classifieds. Sometimes they will have Diaper ads or modeling jobs- but i havn't seen any in a while.

My daughter has gotten jobs thru them including a commercial shoot and a fashion show. Both jobs payed pretty good and she absolutely loved it.
She currently is practicing to do a karoke contest thru them. They are awesome to work with and we really havent had to put much money into it.
In order to join the talent agency they have you audition/meet with them so they can get to know you.
Here's the general jist of how I think it works at Professional Image By Rosemary. She is very respected and has quite a bit of work in the SF area. She has the modeling school which you can attend. Your classes will include a professional photo shoot, which I think you pay extra for, or not...don't quite remember if it was in the initial fees or not. But after your photo shoot and you have a portfolio you can start to get modeling jobs. She will call you in for a call...if you get it, you can use the money earned towards your fees at her school. If you are lucky enough to be in demand you can pretty much work off your fees and start to earn real money. She also has a couple of pageants that she owns so she will help you get started in those if you want to. If you don't get jobs then you pay for the school and the experience, which I have to say is a probably a pretty good experience for those that have done it...JMO.

Does anyone know of a good modeling agency for children? My daughter is 3, and of coarse the most beatiful thing alive:) and she's done some local magazine and fashion shows, but I would love for her to do more!
