Irritating things you do

What some might find endearing about us, others might be hopelessly annoyed by. What kind of habits and behavior do you have that’s irritating to others?

I'm almost always late.

I have OCD. Labels always have to be facing out and everything has it's place; in the shower, the closet, etc. The DVDs and XBox games have to be in a certain order... The bed HAS to be made, and it has to be done a certain way. I'm a neat freak germaphobe, too. I don't think Chris even thinks twice about it anymore.

I rub my feet on the carpet in a circular pattern. My mom absolutely cannot stand the noise, well, a lot of people can't actually. I don't even really notice it, it's become such a habit.

Ahhh!!! That is my least favorite sound in the whole world! lol Anytime my hubby accidently rubs something against the carpet and it makes that sound, I almost have a panick attack. In fact, I had a little one just reading about it! lol That's so funny.

I pick at my cuticles and DH cannot stand it. Actually, I'll pick at anything. I love peeling paint, chipped nailpolish, etc. I once picked a 3X3 hole in my mom's cracked linoleum floor without even noticing. I was on the phone and subconciously picking when my mom walked in and freaked out. I still feel bad about that one.

My husband thinks that I am “indecisive” because I never make any decisions. (ex- where to go out to eat) I think that I am just an easy going person and am up for anything…LOL

It drives me nuts when people interrupt me or eat with chew with their mouth open.

I'm a talker. Go figure, right. Sometimes I just need to be quiet and listen or stop asking questions. I CAN be good at this if I put my mind to it and really focus. fotomama

Ditto. I almost never shut up unless I concentrate on it pretty hard. I've gotten better over the years, though.

My worst moment, though, and I don't mean to offend anyone here was one evening when my husband was trying to "put the moves on" and I was blabbering about how "there are three kinds of women: moaners, screamers, and talkers, blah, blah, blah . . ."

Finally, he just stopped, and said, "I can tell this is going nowhere, but I sure know which one you are . . ."

I forget stuff. All the time. My husband says he thinks I need ADD meds. I want to do everything and often find myself in completely over my head and completely frazzled. I am the ultimate procrastinator.
And mostly, my husband LOVES how I can't get to sleep unless the covers are just so. I never make the bed in the morning (mostly because there is someone still in it when I leave for work), but I can't get into bed until all the covers are spread out and tucked in just right. Other than that, I am completely perfect in every way and I remind my family of that daily - har har...

I'm the same way about the covers. The covers have to be pulled back "just right". If my bf should happen to go to bed before me I'll make him get up so I can "remake" the bed before I go sleep. If the covers aren't right, I sleep like crap.

Oh my gosh, I am glad I am NOT the only one who does that. I can not stand the feeling of my feet being "trapped" in messed up sheets. Something about not being able to move my legs freely bugs the heck out of me:)~ I have to say, my husband actually does "remake" the bed now if he goes to sleep before me cuz he knows I will wake him up:) That is true love..lol=)

If I pull the sheet up it has to be tucked in at the foot of the bed. I will get up in the middle of the night if it comes untucked because otherwise I will not be able to get back to sleep!

I do the same thing if I wake up during the night...that is way to funny!!! They have got to be pulled and flat like a fresh made bed.

I'm going to copy and paste this into an email for my husband so he knows I'm not the only bed sheet psycho out there. I feel so much better.

My boyfriend and I have actually gotten into fights over this. He thinks it's ridiculous. One night he actually got up and went and slept in Jaiden's room. He just doesn't get it! Lol. Maybe if I have him read this he'll realize it's not just me.

My mom says I "talk up" my kids too much. I pick at a lot too...especially my arms...I got scars up and down them cuz I get these stupid pimple things and constantly pick at them! Sometimes my mom says I'm too blunt too, but it might just be my mom?

Me too! I try to refrain from correcting spoken grammatical errors, but when it is in writing, I seriously can't help myself. Just ask Carrie and Sommer! But, I actually made money off it in college, so it's a good thing, right? RIGHT?!?!?!?!

That is what happens when you are trying to type, talk to your husband and stop the dog from licking the baby who is trying to crawl on your lap!
Not only passed the 4th grade...made it all the way through college! Must have been my wonderful ability to multitask!
