I don't know of any that meet in the area. I do know that there are groups online. Good luck! I think starting something would be awesome. Another resource maybe asking Dr. Hansen's staff.
Myra Eben used to do a support group a couple of years ago and she is looking at starting it up again. She has worked with Dr. Hansen as well. If you PM I can give you her email address and you can contact her. It was a great resource for us when we were going through it. Ruth
Hey I just wanted to let people know about the Midwest RESOLVE conference that will be held in MN on May 17th. I believe it is Golden Valley. It an adoption and infertility conference and you can get tons of support and information. You can go to the Midwest RESOLVE website and check out the agenda. The first year we went we did the infertility track. The next year we did the adoption track. This year we are going and doing a little of both and helping out. Let me know if you have any questions. I am also a patient of Dr. Hansen's. I don't know of any local support group, but check out the forums on www.inciid.org. I actually met someone who is from SF on this forum. What a small world!

I don't know of any local groups. When I was a patient of Dr. Hansen's, we were given Myra's name as well. We went through 2-3 years of struggling, clomid, and IVF in town, and then IVF twice in Omaha, through Dr. Carolyn Maud-Doherty. It was a very difficult time in our life and our marraige. To think, only 4 1/2 years ago, I wondered if I would ever have a baby, and now we have 2 beautiful little miracles. I would LOVE to share my story with anyone that needs support. Does anyone know of an Infertility support group that meets in the Sioux Falls area? I have been researching this the last couple weeks and have not found one yet. I have contacted both McKennan and Sanford hospitals as well as the Catholic Diocese and Bethany Christian services. None of these organizations was aware of a group that met. But I did hear about this website and thought it would be a good place to ask! If you have heard anything about a support group, or if you are interested in joining one, please let me know!
