Since I'm waiting for the hubby to get back from the work trip, I'm looking for posts that I can relate to. I've had some seriously demented dreams lately, and I don't know what they mean...but I'll tell them anyways!
*I have this dream where the kids and I are swimming with a ton of other people. Someone takes one of the kids and suddenly they go under water! They are struggling and I can't get to them. No one else is trying to help them and they are just falling! Suddenly they walk up onto the shore, and are laughing...it really scares me.
~My brother is injured is some horrible accident, and he's in the hospital. He starts to get better after me and the kids go see him. He is about to leave to come home and he died...and I went to the funeral and everything...
**There's the classic re-occuring dream...I'm half awake and look at the wall/ceiling/bed and spiders start crawling out or coming down from the ceiling and almost get me. With this one I usually end up accross the room, under the covers, or kicking and crying. Everytime I have this dream my hubby has to check the entire room before I get back in there.
I would love to know why I have these bad dreams. I don't understand it. :( I have good dreams, but I don't remember them as well as these. I will never forget them, and they sometimes haunt me. If anyone can help, that'd be great.
**Ever stop to think...then forget to start again?**
Any chance that you are pregnant? I always had crazy dreams about my kids and family/friends being hurt when I was pregnant with all 4 kids.
No, I'm not...these are dreams that are spread thru out the weeks...and the spider one is constant...at least once a month.
**Ever stop to think...then forget to start again?**
So I just remembered this quote I would write all over (in high school my binders were all quotes)
*Sometimes I dream I'm being chased by a giant spuirrel...does that make me a nut?
Haha, I love it!

Oh GOSH!! i remember that!! I had TERRIBLE dreams when i was pregnant with my son!! So bad that i even asked my dr about it!! My dr did say that pregnancy does make you have strange or bad dreams because of hormones! i dreamt all the time that there was a ma that would sneak in our house and molest my daughter in the middle of the night! then hubby would see him and the man and my hubby would fight in the middle my my dining room and my daughter would be standing by then screaming and crying for daddy to stop!!!! It was INSANE!! i would ALWAYS wake up crying and screaming!! The weird thing was that in my dream every time this man would eter her room h would turn off her night light.. One time when i woke up crying and screaming, her night light was OFF!!! It FREAKED me out! I histaricly woke up my hubby and MADE his go check on her! Turns out the light bulb burnt out! But i can describe how much that scared me!!

I usually do remember at least one dream when I wake up. Last night I was a male Jedi and was fleeing the Sith run law enforcement agency on Coruscant. There were probe droids and mouse droids and strong sith out looking for me. Then I had my 13 yo daughter/apprentice with me and it wound into a fleeing and hiding myself and my daughter from the police.
Two nights ago I dreamed that there was this enormous insect that could fly and liked the smell of my hair. We were on vacation to Mexico or something and I was in the lobby with the hubby and a few strangers. I screamed and screamed and backed myself in a corner trying to bat at the thing with my sleeve to make it go away and eventually a stranger got up from his arcade game to come help me, but then saw the type of bug it was and decided I wasn't in danger and ignored me. I was shrieking frantically at this point and crying and the hubby had just put quarters in the machine and didn't want to lose his game, so didn't come help me.
Also two nights ago, after waking up crying about the bug and falling back asleep, I dreamed we were in the car with two others, hubby driving and I was in the back with a male friend of his that I didn't know. He was in the front with this girl he'd met and made friends with. I'd never met her and she seemed like everything she said to him was flirtatious. When pulling into the mall parking lot, she said something like, "Oh. Remember that thing you were going to get? (pause to see if my hubby catches on and he doesn't) Bee-deep?" She makes this sound like a check out lane and I'm thinking, Yeah, frickin' right. Like that's going to help him remember.. Then right away he says, "Oh Yeeeaaaahh." Nobody expanded and I was left in the dark. For all I know it could have been a present for me, but I was so pissed that it seemed they had this secret language that I couldn't even look at him.
Three nights ago I dreamed a tornado was in the area and we thought it was going to head right past our house, but as I was watching, I saw it veer and turn right for us. We were already in the basement, but our son was there with us and I thought from the angle it was currently heading, we could go upstairs to the opposite corner of the house and escape more of the danger. So I yell to my husband of my plan and he doesn't seem to understand, but I still grab our son and start running. I make it to the room I wanted and lay in the far corner. I cover our boy with two large alpaca pillows I had in there and lay on him until the tornado has passed. Oddly, even after all of my effort, glass shattered and both my husband and son wound up with a shard in the backs of their heads in approximately the same place. Neither went deep enough for real damage, but I felt horrible that I'd moved my boy when, as it turned out, he'd have been in less danger in the room in which the dream began. I came out feeling miserable because I'd endangered my son further, yet had suffered no injury myself.
OMG! This couldn't have come at a better time. For some reason being pregnant with number 3 has brought out the WORST case of wacko dreams I've ever had! The worst one was that I woke up one morning and when I went to take a shower, the baby was on the OUTSIDE of my tummy. I couldn't beleive it, so I asked hubby if he saw what I saw and he said yes. We actually debated going to the doctor, because the baby was still attached, and was TALKING! It wasn't attached by the umbilical cord, but by the monitor wires they use to monitor babies in the hospital! The doctor said she had no choice but to cut those cords and the whole time the baby was screaming NOOOO! I was terrified and even dreamt I woke up to find out it wasn't a dream, which panicked me! When I REALLY woke up the whole thing still freaked me out! I mean obviously having monitor wires in lieu of a belly button should have been a clue it was a dream, but it was FREAKY. I've also had the weird spider dream, that they were hanging above the bed. Strange. I've had several more strange one's involving co-workers etc, but I'm not even gonna go there!
